Castell Roc Festival all set for a spellbinding 2018

Castell Roc Festival releases details of its star studded 2018 shows, held inside Chepstow Castle. The Festival continues to go from strength to strength, gaining national praise and recognition for not only great entertainment but for its relaxed atmosphere, enchanting location and superb acoustics.

A spokesperson for the Festival says, “It’s fantastic hearing the feedback, it makes all the hard work worthwhile. When you hear people say that they have seen an Artist many times before but the Chepstow show was ‘the best by far’ is very humbling for the Team behind the Festival. Castell Roc was always based around that ethos. We are very fortunate to have such as stunning venue, which must be up there as one of the best in the UK. It’s very intimate and definitely special. However, it’s not just a case of being a ‘nice place’, everything has to be good, from the staging, to the sound system, to the lighting, to the bar, to the food. That’s what we do differently; try very hard to make the sort of Event that we would love to visit. Not just it’s a ‘nice place’ but that’s all.”
When you add this all together, you can see why the self-funded Festival now attracts people from all over the UK and even abroad, with people travelling from Europe, Canada & the US for 2017 shows, which is no mean feat for the small team of local enthusiasts.

“Ticket sales are from all over, with well over 60% travelling at least 40 miles, which is great for the Town, local businesses & Monmouthshire as a whole, (unless you are local and leave buying tickets to the last minute to find its sold out!). Organising the Festival has become an all year round thing, when the doors close on 2017 we are straight to work on 2018. Next year the Festival will be held over three shorter weekends and is proud to announce the first of the shows for 2018 .”
