The Business Growth Awards were created to identify and celebrate the pioneers and creativity of business in South Wales and we at Local Link Magazine are so proud to be a part of this.
Local Link Magazine started about 3 years ago out of my bedroom alongside raising my three children. I am so proud of how far the company has come in such a short time and am so humbled to have been given this recognition for all the hard work that goes into the magazine behind the scenes. I do truly love my job and I feel so privileged for Local Link Magazine to be receiving recognition within South Wales.
As you can see, the magazine itself has developed so much from the initial editions, and will continue to grow and develop as I have lots of big ideas for the future….so watch this space!
Of course I can’t take full credit for everything – in the past year I have been lucky enough to take on two full-time members of staff as the business has grown. Looking back, I don’t know how I managed without my Marketing Manager Alice, my right-hand girl. Charlotte has only recently joined the team and has positively inputted into the business to help it thrive.
Finally, I would like to also congratulate the other finalists from all the categories.
The Business Growth Awards South Wales 2017 will be held at Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel & Spa on 2nd March. I am so excited to be nominated and invited to attend the event – I better start shopping for a gown for the ceremony!
