Regional Awards: Cardiff Awards | Wales

On 18th April, The Regional Awards, Cardiff will be holding their annual award ceremony at Mercure Holland House Hotel to celebrate local businesses.

The Regional Awards recognise outstanding achievement, expertise and hard work by individuals and local businesses. The awards pride themselves on bringing a transparent and completely independent judging format. The ceremony is a great opportunity to bring together the best of the best of local businesses and individuals who deserve recognition for the remarkable work they do. By giving official recognition, The Regional Awards help local businesses gain exposure and brand awareness. So, whilst being a celebration the awards can also have a positive long-term impact on businesses.

Previous winners are great examples of the positive impact winning a Regional Award can have. Since receiving recognition, winning businesses like Storm & Shelter have gone from strength to strength, using the exposure to develop their brand and expand their influence. With so many categories available, for example awards recognising the ‘Bar of the Year’ and exceptional work in the Beauty Industry, the awards provide opportunity for a huge variety of up and coming businesses.

The event is always an exciting, glamourous affair. Hosted this year by The Wyburn and Wayne Show’s Nathan Wyburn and Wayne Courtney, the ceremony is guaranteed to be an unforgettable night filled with great entertainment. As well as being a fantastic event, the night also acts as a chance to network and build professional relationships with other local businesses, helping build a local community network that can support each other.

We are an official sponsor of the event this year, for the category ‘New Business Award’; an award that recognises a range of businesses under a year old. At Local Link, we have been doing business for 5 years, so being a new business is still near in our past, and we recognise how hard businesses must work in the beginning, so it’s our honour to recognise businesses who are in this position themselves.

As well as an official sponsor, we are nominated for the Small Business Award; a category that accommodates small businesses that don’t fit into another award slot. We identify ourselves as a small business above all else; that supports other small businesses with their marketing needs. Voting is now open, and every vote means a lot to us here at Local Link.
