Forward Ladies has announced their list of regional finalists for their 2017 National Awards. Guess what? We’ve been shortlisted in the Start-Up Category! This award celebrates Start-Up businesses who have defied all the odds and continued to be a successful business in their sector.
The awards bring together start-ups, multi-million-pound businesses, academics and international business leaders to celebrate the power of forward-thinking businesswomen.
We’ve been shortlisted as Start-Up of the year for Gemma’s resilience in bringing up her 3 children and running Local Link Magazine. Not only did she set up the business but Local Link has grown massively since its beginning, starting with only 1 magazine and growing to 4 reaching 17,000 homes in Newport and Cardiff.
Local link is a Start-Up magazine that values its clients and readers and provides a crucial connection between the public and their community.
